Google Photos stores and backups your images and videos in its cloud storage. You want to delete your images from Google Photos to free up some cloud space. Following any one of the below-mentioned ways can help you delete all Google Photos.
Delete Google Photos on Your Mobile or Tablet
Step 1: Open the Google Photos application on your device.
Step 2: Log into your Google account if required.
Step 3: Click on the three horizontal lines located at the top left corner of your device screen.
Step 4: Choose the Settings option.
Step 5: Click on the Backup & Sync option if you want to save your photos to another device/folder.
Step 6: Ensure the toggle next to Back up & sync is turned on. Drag it towards the right side to turn it on if it is off.
Step 7: Go back to your screen and Settings option.
Step 8: Click on the tab/option – Free up device storage. It is the 2nd option in the Settings menu.
Delete Google Photos on the Cloud
Step 1: Launch the Google Photos app on your device. It is like a multicolored pinwheel.
Step 2: Go to the three horizontal lines on the top left corner. Click on it to open it.
Step 3: Click Settings. After that, click Backup & Sync.
Step 4: Ensure the toggle against the Backup & Sync option is off. Drag the toggle towards the left to turn it off if it is on.
Step 5: Go to your Gallery screen.
Step 6: Click and hold a photo to choose it. As you hold a photo, you will see a blue checkmark on it.
Step 7: Click photos by section or date of a section. You can add as many photos as you can do.
Step 8: Now, click on the dustbin/trash can icon. After that, click Move to Trash.
Step 9: Confirm your request to complete photo deletion.
Delete Google Photos on Your PC
Step 1: Open a web browser on your computer.
Step 2: Type photos.google.com in the address bar.
Step 3: Log into your Google account if you are logged out.
Step 4: Touch and hold a photo on its top left corner to select it.
Step 5: Now, choose photos one by one, by date or section.
Step 6: Click on the Trash or Delete icon.
Step 7: Choose the Move to Trash option.
Step 8: Confirm your request if you see a prompt or screen for it.
