Make Your Account Private
Step 1: Tap on the three-vertical-line and go to the More option that you can find at the bottom left side/corner.
Step 2: Click on the option – Settings. It looks like a gear.
Step 3: Tap on the tab – Who can see your account.
Step 4: Go down to Account privacy and tick the box against Private Account.
Step 5: Tap on the option – Switch to Private. It will confirm your request.
Step 6: Keep in mind you cannot make your business account private. You can do it by going to your personal account.
Cut Down or Remove Users from the List of Your Followers
Step 1: Go to your profile on Instagram. After that, Followers list.
Step 2: Look for a user and click on the Remove option against them.
Step 3: Click on the Remove option again to confirm your request.
Step 4: Keep doing it until you remove all whom you do not know well in the real world.
Block Users
Step 1: Choose a user you want to block.
Step 2: Go to his/her profile page.
Step 3: At top right, click on the three dots menu.
Step 4: Choose the button – Block.
Step 5: To confirm your request, click on this button again as it appears.
